VISMA
VISMA is a new generation innovative fungicide mixture Pyraclostrobin 12.8% + Boscalid 25.2% WG. An innovative active ingredient belonging to the carboxamide class Boscalid is an SDHI chemistry, which acts on the energy production system of the fungal cell. Well established and known broad spectrum fungicide with unique plant health benefits. Pyraclostrobin effects the QoI site of fungus. Acts on two different sites of the fungus, thus effectively killing the fungus. Active on Broad spectrum of
Trade Name: VISMA
Application Method:
- For Grapes- management of multiple diseases of Grapes like Downy Mildew, Powdery Mildew, Anthracnose and Botrytis. Visma should be applied at Pre-bloom stage for Powdery Mildew Management in the fungicide spray programme.
- For Tomato & Chili- First application of Visma should be applied at active vegetative growth phase of crop. Second application of Visma should be done at initial fruit setting position. Maximum two applications of Visma should be applied in one crop/season.
- For Onion/Garlic- First application of Visma should be applied one to two true leaf stage (15-20 days after transplanting). Second application of Visma should be applied at Bulb development stage. Maximum two applications of Visma should be applied in one crop/season.

Mode of Action
- VISMA is a combination of two broad spectrum systemic fungicides. One is strobilurin fungicide belongs to QOI group which inhibits the cellular respiration in the mitochondria of the fungal cell and other one belongs to SDHI group which disrupts the electron transport chain in the fungal cell, thus killing the fungus.
- Pyraclostrobin- QOI fungicide which blocks the mitochondrial electron transport and thus inhibits the fungus energy supply and the target fungus dies.
- Boscalid - broad-spectrum SDHI fungicide, effective against different stages of fungal development, inhibits spore germination, germ tube elongation, appressoria formation or mycelial growth.
Danger Level
- Blue triangle, Moderately toxic.
- Cautionary word on triangle - Danger.
