Companies in Agrochemical Held on 1st and 2nd June 2016, at Basel, Switzerland, Chemspec served as a great visibility platform for PI as a potential Custom Synthesis partner for global companies looking for strategic partners.

PI's participation at Informex from 2nd to 4th Feb 2016, in New Orleans, USA, offered an unexplored platform to showcase the capabilities to the potential customer base from USA. Successful meetings and discussions were held with key decision makers and procurement managers from Agrochemical Companies like Syngenta, DuPont, Gowan, Sabic, Honeywell and Exxon Mobil, opening a huge door to untapped opportunities. The company's specific capability presentation was delivered with great expertise and acknowledged well.

The International Rice Symposium was held from 18th–20th November, 2015 at JT Agricultural University auditorium. The symposium was inaugurated by the Honorable Union Minister for Labour and Employment, Shri Bandaru Dattatreya. There were 30 foreign delegates from Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Thailand, The Phillipines and China. Around 650 delegates from India participated at the same,representing 22 rice growing states. PI installed the stall displayed with all rice protection products and BiovitaX. About 500 delegates from all across the world visited the stall, mostly being interested in Nominee Gold, Osheen, BiovitaX and Keefun

Every year during September-October UPASI has been conducting a 2 day Annual Conference cum Industrial Exhibition at Coonoor. This year, the 122nd Conference cum Exhibition was held on 23rd and 24th September, 2015 at UPASI, Glenview, Coonoor. The first day was inaugurated by UPASI President, Mr. Vijayan Rajesh, followed by a technical session for the delegates. The next day was inaugurated by the Chief Guest Smt. Lalitha Kumaramangalam, Chairperson, National Commision for Women. The Conference ended with a Vote of Thanks by Mr. N. Dharmaraj, Vice President, UPASI. Around 600 delegates attended the event from all plantation crops in South India, mostly from tea corporates. PI booked a prime stall and exhibited the important plantation products like Voltage, BiovitaX, Simbaa, Fosmite and Maxima which were visited by around 1200 people including small tea growers.

The Nominee Brothers' Meet is held in Asian countries every 2 years, Kumiai being the host of the meet. Organized in Kerala from 14th–18th September, 2015 the meet was held in India for the first time as it is the biggest country in terms of the sales of Nominee with PI Industries as partner. The main objectives of the meet were to exchange rice herbicide market information, to discuss technical issues on Nominee and to strengthen friendship among Nominee distributors in Asian countries
