Commitment to Soil Stewardship

We take a science-led, farmer-first approach to improving soil health across India’s agricultural heartlands. Our programs combine innovation, education, and ecosystem restoration to build soil that’s productive, carbon-rich, and climate-resilient.

Key Initiatives Driving Impact

Through targeted interventions and farmer-first initiatives, we’re driving measurable, science-led impact across agricultural ecosystems.

Regenerative Farming Support

We promote low-impact agricultural practices that improve soil structure, organic content, and water retention. Supporting farmers with training in mulching, cover cropping, and minimal tillage.

Nature-Positive Farming Practices

Key infrastructure including moisture sensors, weather stations, weather forecasting tools, and drone-based multispectral scanning form the foundation of precision agriculture. These technologies enable improved agri-input efficiency, greater farmer awareness, and measurable outcomes: 37.5% water savings, 8.14% reduction in agrochemical use, and 30% energy savings through optimised irrigation.

Climate-Resilient Farming Practices

Project Jivodaya equips smallholder farmers with precision agriculture technologies that deliver data-driven insights for informed decision-making and climate resilience. Infrastructure such as moisture sensors, weather stations, forecasting tools, and drone-based scanning strengthen agri-input efficiency, build farmer awareness, and demonstrate measurable outcomes.

Biodiversity-Based Soil Regeneration

Agri-silvi plantation models and native flora restoration help rejuvenate degraded soil ecosystems. 58 hectares of land restored to native ecological function.

Soil Carbon Enhancement

Precision irrigation interventions enhance soil carbon retention by improving water use efficiency and fertigation. These practices enable a 37.5% reduction in water use per crop season, supporting resilient farming systems.

Protecting Biodiversity.
Restoring Balance.

Our Green Belt Development initiative applies the Miyawaki forest method to improve air quality, restore degraded land, and strengthen native biodiversity. By planting native saplings, creating wildlife habitats, and encouraging local participation, the programme supports pollution reduction and community well-being.

Nature-Aligned, Science-Led

From canopy cover to species return, we track outcomes, because nature deserves the same rigour as business.

Agri-Silvi Plantation Programs

Integrating trees into farming systems improves soil, supports native species, and restores degraded land. 42 hectares of land revitalised under biodiversity restoration.

Native Species Restoration

We prioritise local flora in our replantation efforts to restore ecological balance and create pollinator-friendly zones. Increasing green cover and insect diversity in and around manufacturing zones.

Green Buffer Development

Every PI facility includes a green belt zone, designed to reduce dust, noise, and temperature while serving as a habitat corridor. Helps maintain microclimate and safeguards local wildlife.

Zero-Discharge, Low-Impact Operations

By reducing effluent, waste, and emissions, we minimise harm to surrounding ecosystems. 2 manufacturing sites now operate as Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) facilities.

Community Engagement in Conservation

We work with local communities to protect biodiversity hotspots and educate around conservation. Programs include eco-awareness sessions, tree drives, and water body rejuvenation.

Precision That Protects. Farming That Sustains.

Precision Agriculture at PI Industries is where innovation meets impact. We enable farmers to grow more using less; less water, fewer inputs, lower emissions; while improving soil health, crop yield, and long-term sustainability.
Through science-backed insights and real-time data, we help farmers make smarter, faster, and more resilient decisions in the field.

Smarter Farming, Measurable Outcomes

Our approach goes beyond advisory. We equip farmers with actionable tools to optimise resources, reduce environmental impact, and enhance productivity.

Soil & Crop Intelligence

Soil health profiling and crop diagnostics guide input use down to the acre. Better nutrient balance. Higher efficiency. Less waste.

Climate-Smart Advisory

Weather-based forecasts and pest alerts help farmers adapt to changing conditions.
Timely action = improved yield and lower risk.

Tailored Input Application

Using mapping and AI tools, we recommend the right product, dose, and time for each crop stage. Reduced chemical runoff and maximised impact per input.

Digital Enablement

Mobile-based dashboards, multilingual interfaces, and sensor-linked recommendations ensure high accessibility. Technology that meets the farmer where they are.

Sustainability Built In

Precision practices improve water-use efficiency, reduce emissions per acre, and support regenerative agriculture. Good for the farmer. Better for the planet.
