Mode of Action

CLUTCH is a combination of two fungicides, namely systemic and contact fungicides.
Pyraclostrobin is a QOI fungicide that blocks the mitochondrial electron transport and thus inhibits the fungus’s energy supply, and the target fungus dies. Metiram is a contact and protective EBDC fungicide with a multi-site activity that prevents the germination of spores and interferes with the development of the germ tubes; hence, no resistance development can occur.
