Introduction

CARVINT (Flometoquin 10% SC) is a next-generation insecticide designed to provide effective control of Thrips in chilli and Diamond Back Moth (DBM) in cabbage and cauliflower. It belongs to the most advanced IRAC group of insecticide that is group 34. It has a distinct mode of action which works by inhibiting mitochondrial complex III electron transport at the Qi site, distrupting cellular respiration in pests. CARVINT is positioned as a new tool for progressive farmers seeking effective and sustainable pest-management solutions.
