At PI Industries, safety is not seen as an outcome—it is a way of working, shaped by everyday choices, behaviours, and a deep sense of responsibility towards people. This culture, embedded across our Udaipur operations, has been recognised at the International Safety Awards 2026 by the British Safety Council, a globally respected benchmark in occupational health, safety, and wellbeing.
The recognition reflects a sustained focus on building strong foundations from leadership commitment and proactive risk management to robust process safety systems and safe work practices that continue to strengthen how we operate every day.
What sets this journey apart is how closely safety is linked with wellbeing.
Over the past years, a series of structured initiatives have brought this philosophy to life—reaching over 1,200 employees through 22 programmes focused on mental health, resilience, and healthier lifestyles. Efforts such as WWW (Women Wellness Wednesday), with dedicated sessions led by external experts, and Mind Matters at Work, designed to support emotional wellbeing and work-life balance, have encouraged open conversations and meaningful participation across teams.
These initiatives are further supported by ongoing access to counselling, wellness partnerships, and engagement-led programs, ensuring that care extends beyond the workplace. Activities such as fitness challenges, cyclothons, and marathons have also seen strong participation, reinforcing the importance of physical wellbeing as part of a holistic safety culture.
Evaluated through an independent global assessment covering leadership, employee engagement, safety systems, and overall performance, this recognition brings together organisations committed to continually raising the bar on workplace safety.
For PI Industries, it is a reflection of something deeper—a culture where safety, health, and wellbeing are consistently nurtured, and where people remain at the heart of every decision we make.
