With more than 50 years in the Agri Input business in India, PI has one of the oldest and robust marketing network spread throughout India. For effective marketing, the country is divided into 7 Zones, 26 Regions and ~ 140 territories : territory being the lowest marketing unit managed by a Territory Incharge. There are ~ 350 people working in the marketing team spread across the country.

The marketing team is partnered with one of the most loyal distribution channels. This 2-3 tier distribution channel has ~ 8000 distributors & direct dealers and more than 35000 retail points across the major agriculture areas in the country.

PI has 27 stock points including its own depots and C&F agents who work on hub-and-spoke distribution model to ensure timely delivary.

All the stock points, the marketing team members and major channel partners are IT enabled and are connected with the central ERP system of the Company. PI is operating on SAP ERP for last several years and has built several business intelligence tools which help us excel in our business processes and put us in a unique position vis-a-vis our peers in terms of last mile connect with the ultimate customer. 

PI has a huge data base of farmers including their mobile numbers which help us remain connected with them through modern IT tools.
