PI organized  a seminar at IIT Delhi under their golden jubilee program to discuss "Future of Chemistry" on April 7, 2011.  The seminar had speaking contributions from prominent dignitaries in the field of Chemistry, which included  Dr. Ei-ichi Negishi, Nobel Laureate 2010 in Chemistry for developing palladium-catalyzed cross-coupling in the mid-1970s, Dr. Osamu Kumagai, President, Advanced Material Laboratories, Sony Corp., Japan and Dr. Ramasami, Secretary, Govt. of India, Deptt. of Science & Technology,India.
